India vs Pakistan was the 22nd match in the 2019 World Cup Campaign held at Old Trafford, Manchester.

Pakistan Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bowl first against India.

During India’s batting, the weather the rain stopped the play at 47 overs and the covers came off after, nearly an hour.

India scored 336 runs losing 5 wickets in the end of 50 overs.

Pakistan seemed to start well, but couldn’t easily handle India’s bowling skills. The rain again stopped the play for a few minutes, which caused the match to follow the DLS method.

India won by 89 runs. By DLS method. Pakistan was never in the hunt once target crossed 300. Rohit Sharma takes all the plaudits, but Kuldeep Yadav broke that chase in truth.

Rohit Sharma was applauded as the ‘Man of the match’, by scoring 140runs facing 113 balls.
