The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued flood bulletin as they have predicted the rise of water levels in various rivers and tributaries which may cause an overflow in the eastern Tarai region.
The flood centers at Bagmati River, Rai Gaun and Pandhera Confluence have predicted that the water level will rise above warning level. The rivers have been predicted to rise above danger level and would retain to warning level, the bulletin stated.
Similarly, the flood centers at Kamala River, Ranibas and Titariya have predicted a continuous approach to warning level and have predicted the rivers to cross the danger level. There is also a possibility for the Kankai River and Mainachuli River to rise above the warning level.
