Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli meets with Cambodian Acting Chief of the State

By Dipendra Adhikari, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, May 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who will be currently on an official visit of Cambodia, has kept a meeting with acting Head of the State Sambdech Vibol Sena Pheakdey Say Chhunm at the Senate house here today. 

The Chief of the State King Norodom Sihamoni has become in Beijing to attend the Meeting on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations in order to improve Cambodia-China dealings, therefore, the Senate President was designated as the acting Head of the State. 

Based on the Nepali ambassador to Thailand Khagnath Adhikari, the problems relating to bilateral and parliamentary circumstances and cultural exchange of both nations were discussed in the meeting. PM Oli is here following a five-day official check out to Viet Nam. 

Cambodia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry officials declared the visit is predicted to improve the bonds of friendship with the Kingdom of Cambodia and promote economic, deal, tourism and cultural cooperation, and the tradeoff of parliamentary experiences between the two nations. 

Also present on the event were, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chief Consultant of the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Affairs Advisor Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, secretaries at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Tradition Tourism and Civil Aviation and Industry, Commerce and Supplies among other delegates.
