The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and MEDEF International – the French business confederation – finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for investment cooperation in the occurrence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Paris on Wednesday.
The FNCCI declared that the MoU was signed to improve economic and business relations between Nepal and France and cooperate and work together in the areas of investment and technology transfer. Presidents of FNCCI and MEDEF Worldwide Bhawani Rana and Frederic Sanchez respectively signed on the MoU on behalf of their organizations.
Both organizations have always been cooperating in business and investment promotion.
The MoU contains the problems like exchange of business delegation between the two countries, study visits by economic and business companies, organization of meetings, interactions, seminars, organization of seminars in technical areas, exchange of information and information, expansion of business dealings , identify investment and trade possibilities and cooperation in technology and investment appeal . Prime Minister Oli congratulated each the organizations for inking an important knowing and expressed hope that the MoU would play a crucial role in developing collaboration in the areas of mutual advantage.
Addressing the event, Prime Minister urged the French business community and traders to come to Nepal and make an investment. He also elaborated the recent legal reforms manufactured in order to create a more conducive business and investment environment in the country.
Rana stated hope that the MoU would pave a way for rigorous cooperation between the two organizations and developing the business relations between Nepal and France.
