The Nepal Stock Market (NEPSE) index decreased in the initial transaction day of the week on Sunday.
The NEPSE notice slides by 4 .45 points to 1, 256 .04 points at present.
In today’s exchange, sub-indices of consumer banking, trading, hydropower, others’, microfinance and life insurance coverage group documented declining craze while the sub-indices of the resort, growth bank, finance, non-life insurance policy, production, and common fund recorded a development.
The sub-indices of life insurance coverage group documented the largest decline of 50.24 points to close at 6,026.81 points accompanied by microfinance with 9.07 points to near at 1,433.18 points.
Similarly, the sub-indices of the standard bank declined by 6.7 points to 1,128.71 points, exchanging by 1.35 points to 259.84 points, hydropower by 3.16 points to 1,185 .18 points and other cluster declined marginally by 0.46 points to 721.79 points.
Nevertheless, sub-indices of non-life insurance policy group recorded the highest growth of 38 .32 points to close at 5,164.27 points followed by manufacturing group by 11.07 points to close at 2,686.82 points.
The sub-indices of hotels group rose by 6.84 points, growth bank by 3.15 points and finance 2.69 points.
Today, the stock market traded 2, 216, 493 unit shares of 173 businesses worth Rs. 540 .59 million in 7, 698 transactions.
Stakeholders of Jonathan Samudayic Laghubitta Bikas Standard bank, Swarojar Laghu Bitta Bikas Bank, Mithila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Restricted, Khanikhola Hydropower as well as Nepal Agro Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has become top five losers on Sunday. Similarly, financial partners of Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Dibyashowri Hydropower, Rairang Hydropower Producer Company, Nepal Life Insurance Coverage Company ‘promoter’ and Ideal Finance Company grew to be leading gainers.
