Nepal communist party meet postponed till 13th August

Ram Bahadur Thapa who is the Secretariat at Nepal communist party has proposed a proposal in the meeting that says that members should not lead any department of the party. This came after the party has been divided to seek for a new leader to lead the training department.

Iswar Pokharel and Narayan Kaji Shrestha are expected to lead the training department.

However, Madhav Kumar Nepal, the former prime minister has rejected the proposal by Thapa as said by a party source.

An NCP source stated that PM Oli has said that he wanted to get views of other leaders as well. The meeting has been postponed until 13th August.

The party’s unification process has been delayed because the senior leaders failed to name the department chief.
