Xiaomi, a worldwide technology leader, has released their first AndroidTM Go smartphone, Redmi Go, in Nepal.

The AndroidTM Go programme was released by Google in 2017. The Redmi Go runs the Android™ 8.1 Oreo™ (Go edition) operating system, offering reimagined Google applications which have been optimised to reduce storage and data use. Redmi Go benefits a five-inch HD display, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 425 SoC, and a 3000 mAh battery.

On the back it sports an 8 MP main camera fortified by an LED flashlight. On the front, Redmi Go has a 5 MP camera for selfies. It contains two SIM card slots and has a separate microSD slot that supports up to 128GB microSD cards. It is going to be available in black and blue colours with 8GB storage capacity at Rs 8,999.

The Redmi Go is going to be for sale in offline stores and on Daraz from March 3.
