Grow in tigers is supporting the rise in tourist arrival to the park

Tourists to Nepal’s Bardiya National Park ( BNP ) are steadily increasing! 

The increase in tourist activity is majorly attributed to improving in tiger population in recent times. 

Based on BNP Assistant Conservation Officer Ashok Bhandari, the visitor inflow to visit the park to follow tiger movement along with endangered wild species has increased significantly. 

Based on him, the majority of tourists visit the park mainly to witness the tiger movement, which is the majority of visible during the summer season. 

As per released statistics, a total of 22, 000 tourists such as Nepalis and foreigners visited BNP in the last 10 months, and a total of 87 tigers have been spotted.
